Ok so I remember last year around Sept. 11, 50 Cent and Kanye West had this little battle goin on for record sales..50 said if Kanye sold more than him that he would stop releasing solo albums..Ok the battle has been over.. Kanye sold a shitload more than 50 and yet Curtis is still releasing a solo album..Somebody shoot me now. Kanye allegedly is gonna release an album in Dec. and thus 50 is releasing an album in Dec...Seems as if somebody is a sore loser..Poor lil Curtis got his feelings hurt and he's holdin a grudge. I was watchin Lil Wayne's performance at the VMAs last night and he rapped a "new" verse over the Misunderstood beat. I was thinkin to myself 'wow that sounds familiar, maybe its off of one of his mixtapes or somethin'. Ok I'm just as big a Wayne fan as anybody(thats not a hater) but he recited a whole verse from Drake! I'm a Drake fan too and I listened to one of his older tracks and heard that verse. I definitely had a WTF! moment briefly. I mean plenty people say hella shit that Wayne has said before. & Wayne has had his fair share of borrowed material(Biggie, Jay-Z, OutKast, etc..now Drake.) Kwame Kilpatrick, the youngest mayor in Detroit history, elected at age 31, has plead guilty to obstruction of justice. Kwame will spend 120 days in jail and agreed to give up his job. This all started over some risque text messages he sent to his former chief of staff. Sad to see the Hip-Hop Mayor go down is such a fashion.
