Ok, so her birthday was yesterday..better late than never..I had to say somethin about everybody's favorite female vocalist/MC/whatever u want her to be.. I love Lauryn Hill, I fell in love with her in Sister Act 2. Loved her with The Fugees, The Score is a CLASSIC ALBUM! I was at a poetry joint one night with some friends, and during the intermission the DJ started playing Killing Me Softly...Everybody in the building(myself included) started singing the words and just vibing. It was like some movie shit, real talk! The next morning the only thing on my agenda was to go repurchase The Score, because this event made me realize what a MUST-HAVE CD it is! I love The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, CLASSIC.. She is and always will be eternally dope, if she never drops a studio album ever again, her presence has been felt and she has left an impression on an entire generation.. She's a legend! I will forever love Lauryn Hill. So Happy Belated Birthday, My Love!
