International Player's Anthem

This is a classic record/classic video! I have been singing this song all morning. One of my favorites..Shout out to my boy J.Straw..the other day he asked, "Dear Mr. Andre Benjamin, I was jus wondering if you could grace us with a fresh 48 bars. I'd also enjoy 32 or even a hot 16.." Thats how I feel and I know I'm not the only one. So enjoy this one, one of the hottest Dre3000 verses ever....

GLC-Big Screen Ft. Kanye West

Not a big fan of GLC, but I've been on this song for a good lil minute now. Glad he got a video for it..Kanye(back when he actually rapped) snapped on here, spits some real shit. I'm guessing they shot this video back when 'Ye first started growin the shag.. I like the video, very dope.

Damn I'ma Miss T.I.

Sooo...Tip was sentenced today to a year and a day..I personally feel that he will get out early for good behavior and what not, but he must serve 85% of his sentence before that happens. He has 30 to 60 days to report to prison. He also has 470 hours of community service left to do. I think that he has learned a valuable lesson from all of this and taught alot of people lessons. Nobody is untouchable, nobody is above the law(Unless u worked in the Bush Administration), he has given us an example of what could happen from that type of thinking..

Lloyd-You Ft. Lil Wayne

I was listenin to this song randomly the other day, I almost forgot how hard Wayne went on this joint..listened to it like 3 times back to back.. I'm comin out with a mixtape titled Featuring Lil Wayne, cuz he will jump on ur beat with or without and make it his own..Fiyah!

The Lonely Island- I'm On A Boat Ft. T-Pain

From the makers of Jizz In My Pants...This song is soooo fuckin hilarious..but also surprisingly jammin..go figure.. I like the beat and they got T-Pain. They actually have a full album out, it came out in February.. If anybody else woulda came out with this song I woulda said it was wack, but because it's clearly for amusement purposes only, its cool..then they got T-Pain!

T I P Shawty!

So the other night before I went to sleep, I kept rappin these lyrics that I just couldn't get out of my head. It was T.I., I don't remember what song it was but it was from Trap Muzik. Tip has and always will have lyrics/wordplay. He really is the King of the South..I'm kinda sad that the man actually has to go to jail, but I'm glad he's accepting responsibility for his actions(like there is an alternative). His show Road to Redemption is dope, I think it would have been a better look if he was doin this type of stuff before he got the most recent charges, because he's been locked up multiple times. He should have taken this responsibility to educate the young folks about this years ago, but as they say better late than never.. I hope my dude don't gotta do a super long stretch, but it is what it is..

Here are 2 Southern Classics from the King..
T.I.- 24s

T.I.- Be Easy

"Its Fun To Do Bad Things"

This lil bad ass kid..Man couldn't have been my child..Just check it out.

What's Goin On 'Ye?

So I was watchin VH1 Storytellers: Kanye West earlier today, as I was watchin and listening, I pondered to myself Kanye's lyrical digression. I've said this to my friends before but I feel that Kanye was waaaayyyy more lyrical on The College Dropout & Late Registration than on his 2 latest projects. And thats not to say that he still doesn't have lyrics, but I feel that since he stopped writing he has dumbed down his lyrics in an effort to be like Jay-Z, Biggie or Lil Wayne, or just to say he doesn't write. I just thought to myself how much harder he went lyrically when he initially came on the scene..Then I thought well if he hadn't gone as hard from the gate would he have made it as far as he's come, making it to the stage where no matter what he does good or bad, it's a big deal.. I'll always be a fan regardless, but personally I feel that while he's grown as a producer, he's lagged in the lyrics. That's what hip-hop is supposed to be about: Lyrics.. I miss old Kanye, maybe he'll come back one day..

Since I'm talkin about old Kanye, here are 2 of my favorite Kanye produced tracks & verses.

Slum Village- Selfish Ft. Kanye West & John Legend.

Dilated Peoples- This Way Ft. Kanye West
